Dr Modupe (Mo) Fasanya graduated in 1992 and began practicing in the UK in 2001. She has been a part of the Sundon Dental Practice team, on and off since 2012 and she is a popular member of the team with both patients and staff alike.
She earned a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Bristol in 2006 and a Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Institute in 2010. More recently, she
completed a Diploma in Implantology at the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology in 2022, culminating in a Master’s degree in Advanced Implantology from Birmingham in 2023.
She enjoys most aspects of General Dentistry and will be providing Implant services at Sundon Dental Practice, using the Nobel Biocare system (a leading innovator of implant-based dental
restorations).
Outside of dentistry, Mo is a devoted mother of three young adults, an avid tennis enthusiast, and actively involved in charity work.
Dr Shahid Mahmood BDS BSc(Hons)

Dr Mahmood graduated with a bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry. He also holds a degree in Applied and Human Biology (Bsc Hons) from Aston Unniversity, and has worked for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. He is currently working towards obtaining membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England as well as completing a Masters in Dental Education. Dr Mahmood has received a 'Contribution to Society' award as part of a community engagement project within Plymouth, which has now been implemented within the Dental School curriculum. Dr Mahmood is very enthusiastic about building upon his dental knowledge, and his main interests lie within restorative dentistry.
Dr S Mehta B.D.S.
Dental Surgeon GDC Number - 1539
Dr Sunali Mehta qualified from Kings College, London and completed her vocational training in London. She has been working at Sundon Dental Practice since 2009.
Dr Mehta completed her MJDF qualification in 2009, and has since become a member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners. She has recently completed a course to carry out Invisalign, which is a revolutionary way of straightening teeth with nearly invisible braces.
Dr Mehta has a special interest in Oral Surgery and Aesthetic dentistry following completion of an aesthetic dentistry course.
